Your Phases

HerBalance organizes your cycle into four phases to help you understand how your body’s needs change over time. Because every cycle is different, these phases serve as a supportive framework not a strict timeline.

The HerBalance phases apply whether you’re following your menstrual cycle or using lunar syncing. 

ROOT

Think of this as your body’s winter season that usually last 3 to 7 days. Hormones are at their lowest and your energy dips as your body sheds the uterine lining, which naturally slows your pace. This is your time to turn inward and give yourself permission to rest.

MENSTRUAL| DAYS 1-7

BLOOM

This is the spring season of your cycle. Estrogen begins to rise, your metabolism speeds up, and your brain becomes more alert. You may feel more creative, motivated, and energetic.

FOLLICULAR| Days  7-14

SHINE

This is your natural summer. Estrogen peaks, and you feel clearer, stronger, and more outward focused. Many women feel their most confident and vibrant during this short window.

OVULATION| DAYS 14-21

HARVEST

This is your autumn season. Progesterone rises, which helps calm the body and prepare it for rest, but it also increases nutrient needs and affects

blood sugar sensitivity. Estrogen fluctuates and testosterone decreases.
